Candy Chang

Dublin, Ohio – Candy Chang, Dublin resident and world-renowned artist, is set to design the newest public art piece in Bridge Park. Chosen from 49 Ohio-based artists interested in leading this first-time official project administered by Dublin’s Public Art Board in public-private partnership with Crawford Hoying, Chang resonates deeply with the site and plans to create a meaningful, intimate installation, operating at multiple scales.

The installation will be digitally printed onto mesh scrim and attached to the front of the parking garage in Crawford Hoying’s latest block development at Bridge Park. As the most visible piece of public art, on both a pedestrian and vehicular level, in the Bridge Street District to date, it’s expected to embody the unique identity and bold spirit of the area.

Chang envisions her piece as something that celebrates human connection and encourages an openness about fears and struggles, revealing shared experiences of individuals in an age of increasing isolation. Additionally, the piece will showcase the harmony of Bridge Park and its surrounding natural forces, with influence from ancient Chinese text, I Ching, which uses various forces of nature to guide one through any situation. From traffic on Dublin-Granville Road, the piece exhibits this homage to nature, while on the pedestrian level, it becomes a personal sharing of reflections on relationships, fostering connection and strengthening the community.

In preparation for this piece, the Columbus Metropolitan Library Dublin branch will be hosting a temporary installation during the first two weeks of May 2026 to collect community responses, which have a chance to be included in Chang’s permanent public work. This new installation will further diversify Dublin’s Art in Public Places program and bring a feeling of familiarity and community to Bridge Park.

Bristol Live Music

Dublin, Ohio – Bristol Republic (Bristol), the Columbus staple known for its Southern-inspired menu, live music, and signature Nashville atmosphere, is set to open its new home in Dublin at Bridge Park in June 2026.

This next chapter introduces a major evolution for the brand: two distinct concepts under one roof…Bristol Republic and a new elevated cocktail lounge, The Saddle Club.

Located at 4495 Bridge Park Avenue, the multi-level space has been designed to offer a layered experience, blending dining, live music, and nightlife in a way that’s uniquely Bristol.

“We’re taking everything that’s made Bristol what it is—great food, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere—and building on it,” said Brian Swanson, owner of Bristol Republic. “At the same time, we’re introducing something completely new with The Saddle Club. It gives us the ability to offer two different experiences in one space, depending on what you’re looking for.”

Bristol Republic will continue to feature a menu that goes beyond its well-known BBQ, including favorites like 18-hour brisket and Texas-style ribs, alongside expanded offerings such as dry-aged meats and seasonal dishes, all supported by a state-of-the-art kitchen with Southern Pride smokers and a stone-fired hearth. A refined cocktail and whiskey program, Southern brunch, and live music lineup will remain at the core of the experience.

The Saddle Club introduces a more elevated, intimate environment within the space, centered around a high-end cocktail and whiskey program. The concept will feature:

  • curated whiskey selection and elevated cocktail program
  • Live jazz Wednesday through Saturday
  • DJs on Friday and Saturday evenings
  • A more refined, lounge-style atmosphere
  • Private event capabilities for up to 50 guests

Together, the two concepts create a destination that can shift throughout the night—from dinner and live music to a more elevated lounge experience.

“The excitement surrounding Bristol Republic from the downtown Dublin community has been outstanding,” said Bob Hoying, principal at Crawford Hoying. “We’re looking forward to welcoming Bridge Park’s first live music destination to the neighborhood very soon.”–

The restaurant will be located at 6757 Longshore St., offering a new full-service breakfast experience to the Bridge Park neighborhood.

“Bridge Park has quickly become one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in Columbus, and we are excited to bring an all-day, full-service breakfast and brunch experience back to this side of Dublin,” said Scott McCray, Director of Brand Engagement; Strategic Relations at On The Fly Hospitality. “Our goal is to recreate the true neighborhood breakfast bar experience we’re known for – a place where guests can start their morning with coffee, gather for brunch on weekends or enjoy a mid-day break with colleagues in a space that feels approachable, energetic and rooted in community.”

As HangOverEasy’s seventh location and third in central Ohio, the expansion into Bridge Park marks the brand’s largest footprint to date at approximately 5,500 sq. ft. The restaurant will accommodate 116 guests with table seating, a full-service bar, and an outdoor patio, offering a mix of dining experiences. Refreshed design elements will be incorporated throughout to reflect the brand’s playful identity and create an energetic, welcoming dining experience.

Exclusive to the Dublin location, HangOverEasy will introduce several new features, including the debut of a fully dedicated coffee bar space within the restaurant, offering drip and specialty coffee drinks, house-made pastries and light café fare. Designed to serve both grab-and-go guests and those looking to meet over coffee, the café will feature table seating and complimentary Wi-Fi to support remote work, casual meetings and everyday neighborhood use.

“We’re thrilled to welcome HangOverEasy to Bridge Park in spring 2026,” said Scott Dring, president and CEO of Visit Dublin. “It will bring a vibrant, full-service breakfast experience to Bridge Park, along with lunch and eventually dinner, that both residents and visitors will love.
The addition of a grab-and-go option makes it even more convenient. I’m excited to see how HangOverEasy will enhance the energy of Bridge Park.”

In addition to new offerings planned for this location, guests can expect HangOverEasy’s signature menu of creative breakfast and lunch favorites such as Chicken & Waffles, Dirty Burritos, hearty Breakfast Skillets, pancakes and a lineup of burgers and sandwiches. The new multi-level, 6,500-square-foot Bridge Park location will offer a fresh take on casual dining and live entertainment, blending great food, music, and community in a way that’s uniquely Bristol. With an open, inviting design and seamless indoor/outdoor flow, Bristol will be the perfect spot for everything from family brunch to live music with friends. Designed to accommodate private gatherings, relaxed dining, and lively entertainment, Bristol’s new home will be a must-visit destination.

“Bridge Park is the perfect home for the next chapter of Bristol Republic,” said Brian Swanson, owner of Bristol. “We’re bringing everything our guests love—great food, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere—but in a space that allows us to do even more.”

Guests can expect an elevated menu that combines Bristol’s beloved BBQ favorites — like 18-hour brisket, Texas Spare Ribs, and signature sides and shareable—with innovative new dishes, including dry-aged meats and seasonal chef-driven specials.

A refined cocktail program and vast whiskey selection will further add to the experience. Additionally, Bristol will continue to feature an exciting lineup of live entertainment, including country and blues performances, ensuring that music remains at the heart of the experience.

The move to Bridge Park is made possible through a partnership with Crawford Hoying, the visionary developers behind Dublin’s thriving mixed-use district. “Crawford Hoying has been an incredible partner throughout this process,” said Swanson. “Their ability to build vibrant gathering spaces made Bridge Park the perfect home for Bristol.”

The new location is slated to open in late 2025. Follow @BristolRepublic for exclusive sneak peeks, opening updates and a first look at what’s to come.
