October is National Art Month, and Bridge Park is celebrating by shining a light on the creative energy that brings our community to life. Each piece—crafted by talented local artists—tells a story of connection, culture and creativity.

Whether you’re strolling past the new dog park, admiring the serene beauty of Rick Braveheart’s scrim, or discovering the intricate details of Valentina’s mosaic, you’ll find that art at Bridge Park isn’t just decoration—it’s an experience that transforms everyday spaces into moments of inspiration.

Dog Park Topiary Garden

Location: 4595 Bridge Park Avenue

In September of 2024, in collaboration with Brian Kocher, Greenhouse Manager at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Bridge Park welcomed the first topiary park in Dublin, Ohio, and the second in central Ohio.

Located on the northeast corner of Dale Drive and Tuller Ridge Drive, it features five topiary installations all resembling different dog breeds. Each installation is covered with decorative moss, a quasi-living material, that allows the moss to be interchangeable with color appearance!

Nature-Inspired Scrim

Location: 6741 Longshore Street

Framing views of greenery and outdoor seating, this 40’ tall by 140’ wide large-scale installation by local photographer Rick Braveheart was designed as a serene, wooded escape. Serving as the most visible piece of art ever done in Bridge Street District, it contrasts beautifully with the urban setting, connecting seamlessly with the natural landscape beyond.

“In the Neighborhood” Mosaic

Location: 4595 Bridge Park Avenue

“In the Neighborhood” is a vibrant mosaic installation by local artists Eric Rausch and Jen Kiko, located on the pillar in front of Valentina’s. Comprising 3,444 hand-cut and hand-painted ceramic tiles, the artwork features a lively depiction of local flora and fauna, including sunflowers and brown sparrows, reflecting both Italian and Ohioan influences. The design centers around an iron gate, with each tile meticulously crafted, numbered, bisque-fired, hand-painted, glazed, and reassembled to form the final composition.

McCallum Garage Mural

Location: 6741 Longshore Street

Columbus-based artist and muralist Adam Hernandez brought his signature vibrancy and storytelling style to this modern reimagining of Bridge Park’s scrim. Known for his bold, surreal murals—including the dynamic interiors of Condado Tacos—Hernandez infuses this piece with layers of color, texture and symbolism. His interpretation transforms into a piece that captures both the vibrancy of the neighborhood and his creative expression.

Additional art installations include: The “Rooster” at North Market Bridge Park, mural at North Market Bridge Park, Dublin Arts Council’s ARTboxes, Terra Art Gallery

So next time you visit, take a moment to look around. You’ll see that art at Bridge Park isn’t just something to admire—it’s something to feel, to be part of and to celebrate all year long.
